Three Nails, Thorns and a Tree

A-crown-of-cruel-thorns

Three nails, a crown of thorns, and a tree

Took Your life and gave it to me.
Two nails for Your hands and one for Your feet
A crown of thorns for your beautiful head
They nailed You to that old rugged tree
Six hours You hung there and bled

You chose to be the Lamb of sacrifice
As atonement for my sin
Washed away with Your precious blood
Never to be remembered again

There’s not enough money in all the world
The hills can’t hold enough gold
There’s not enough silver in all the mines
To pay the debt to I owe

For me You gave Your life
A love so pure and divine
It’s no sacrifice, Lord
I gladly give You mine

In His Love,

Elizabeth

About Elizabeth

I consider it an honor and a privilege, not a right as a woman, to be called to preach the gospel. I pray you find something here to bless you for that is my prayer and if I fail, in words, to express what I feel in my heart, I pray Holy Spirit will reveal it.
