A poem Holy Spirit gave me! Although the title is “Elizabeth” it’s not about me, well maybe sorta. I mainly chose the name for the meaning.
A scarlet robe she wore
When they came to her door
The color of her shame
And the names that she bore
Now she’s grown older
Her hair is white as snow
Her life’s been full of strife
Peace, she’s never known
Her mind goes back to
The memories of old
To the years she’s wasted
And a heart that’s grown cold
Someone told her about a man
Who would love her as she is
Who wanted her for her
And not what she could give
She couldn’t believe her ears
And her eyes filled with tears
As He whispered softly
Your sins I forgive
Had she really been forgiven
By the scarlet blood that flows
Her sins were of crimson
The color of her robe
Now were made white
White as winter snow
Now she wears a new robe
Given to her by Him
It reflects her beauty
The image of Him
In His love,
Elizabeth

You poem has a great testimony!

Someone once told me religion is for old people…I believe that.
I also believe forgiveness and “religion” is for young people alike.
What I like about this offering is, It talks about forgiveness for mistakes and or bad choices,,,age has nothing to do with it…I have known 30 year old women and men that were 70 because of the miles they had traveled, and the rough road they chose..and then Father God got their attention and gave them the correct directions.
God Bless You Ms.Elizabeth Parker.
